Through the understanding of the previous articles, everyone should know that a reducer is a relatively accurate machine, whose main purpose is to reduce speed and increase torque. Its application range is wide, such as metallurgy, non-ferrous metals, coal and other industries. In our daily use, in order to extend the lifespan of the device, a series of checks must be conducted to ensure accuracy before continuing to use it. So, what are the aspects of daily inspection for reducers? Today, the editor will take you to have a specific understanding.
1. Mainly inspect the gearbox housing and bearing cover.
2. The inspection of gears requires that the gears must not have broken teeth, and the tooth surfaces must not have cracks or peeling.
3. When inspecting the shaft, the ellipticity and taper on the shaft diameter shall not exceed 0.015-0.025mm. The surface roughness of all mating dimensions of the reducer shaft shall meet the technical requirements of the drawing. If it exceeds the tolerance of 0.02mm, it can be reused, and if it exceeds 0.02mm, it needs to be repaired before use. The axis width dimension can be reused for dimensions not exceeding 0.04mm, and should be replaced for dimensions exceeding 0.04mm.
4. For the inspection of gearbox bearings, they should be cleaned with heated mineral oil until the inner race is gently rotated by hand and there is no clamping phenomenon in any direction; Check the clearance of the cleaned bearings with a feeler gauge.
In addition to regular inspections during use, we also need to regularly maintain and repair the gearbox in order to effectively extend the service life of the equipment and reduce our maintenance costs to a certain extent.
The above is all about the daily inspection of the gearbox. I hope my article can be helpful to everyone.
